Hi There!!

Hi, I’m McKenzie—the hands, heart, and glitter supplier behind Oside Handmade. My love for crafting started in my grandma’s studio in San Diego, California, where I spent countless childhood afternoons in a paint-streaked smock, creating side by side with her. Over the years, crafting became more than a hobby—it became a source of healing, a creative outlet in my journey to sobriety, and a way to reconnect with joy when I needed it most.

As a lifelong learner (and self-proclaimed craft collector), I’ve truly never met a project I didn’t want to try. By day, I work in the science industry—which might explain my deep love for slime and its gooey, stretchy magic. Oside Handmade became my way of blending two worlds: hands-on creativity and a joyful kind of experimentation.

What began as a solo mission to make art turned into something so much more beautiful—a growing community. Friends, family, and even strangers have jumped in to help, create, and share this dream with me. Together, we’ve turned booths into bonding spaces, parties into playful memories, and crafts into something that brings people closer.

My dream? To one day open a dedicated studio where anyone can walk in, make a mess, make a memory, and leave the world a little more glittery than they found it.

Ready to take this journey with me? Let’s make something magical—together.
